Frequently asked questions about the accommodation availability software

How do the available dates get updated?
Each user updates their own information on a regular basis. It is recommended that this be done once a day or whenever a new booking is made. The site will also show when the data was last updated.

Do I have to install any software?
No, all the information is stored on our servers.

I am listed on quite a lot of different travel portals. Will this system work on all the different portals?
Yes, it should be able to. Each portal would simply place a link to the relevant link on our site. We in actual fact work closely with a lot of different travel portals.

Can I allocate only a portion of our inventory?
Yes, a lot of establishments allocate some of their inventory to “online” bookings.

Can a prospective client make a booking once they see there is availability?
We have decided not to include this as a standard feature of our product due to a few reasons.
1. We don’t take any commissions, so it doesn’t make any sense in the money coming into our bank account.
2. It is much safer to swipe the client’s credit card, or get an imprint of the client’s credit card. If this is not done, the client can dispute the transaction and all the money could be lost.
